About us

Pastnieks ("the postman" in Latvian) is a small dining room in the centre of Ventspils — light wood, marble tables, leather sofas and a geometric wallpaper pattern that regulars recognise at once. In summer there are tables on the outdoor terrace too.

We cook simply and honestly: soups, salads, pasta, fish and meat dishes — for a weekday lunch, dinner for two or a family celebration. Children have a menu of their own.
