Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how SIA "Kusman 14" processes personal data in connection with the website pastnieksedamistaba.lv and table reservations by phone at the dining room "Pastnieks" (Platā iela 4, Ventspils). We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Latvian law.
1. Controller

2. What data we process and why
Visiting the site. To run the site and keep it secure, the hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) briefly processes technical data: IP address, time of the request, page requested, browser and device data. Basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use or keep these logs ourselves.
Analytics. With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Without consent Clarity is not loaded. See the Cookie policy for details.
Table reservations by phone. When you call us we note what is needed for the reservation: name, phone number, number of guests, date, time and special requests. Basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The website does not receive or store this data; it is used only to provide the reservation. Calls are not recorded.
The site has no contact forms, registration or comments — we do not ask you to enter personal data.
3. Recipients
Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA) — hosting and delivery of the site (processor).
Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Microsoft Corporation) — analytics only with your consent; for Clarity data Microsoft is an independent controller.
Public authorities and law enforcement — only where required by law.
4. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Vercel Inc. and Microsoft Corporation are located in the USA. Transfers are based on the European Commission decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified, and additionally on the EU standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
Reservation data is kept until the day of the reservation and no longer than needed to provide it. Your cookie choice — 12 months. Microsoft Clarity data — as described in section 5 of the Cookie policy. Hosting logs are kept briefly by Vercel under its own terms.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, to object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). We reply to requests within one month.
7. Complaints
If you believe your data is processed in breach of the law, you can contact the Latvian Data State Inspectorate: Datu valsts inspekcija, Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, phone +371 67223131, e-mail pasts@dvi.gov.lv, www.dvi.gov.lv, or the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
8. Changes
We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date. The site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly process children's data. The site is served over HTTPS only.
